  • Sant’Egidio Solidarity Project

    In 2022 CIS-NYC established a formal partnership with the Community of Sant’Egidio to establish a homeless outreach program. This program provides individuals experiencing homelessness in Midtown Manhattan with weekly meals, accompaniment, and support in accessing essential resources and services.

  • Rompiendo Las Aguas at Radio Maria

    Rompiendo Las Aguas is a radio program supported by CIS-NYC that began broadcasting on Radio Maria in 2015. The radio program focuses on bringing information and empowerment to listeners, and in particular immigrants. Rompiendo Las Aguas is hosted by Angel Diaz who is a community leader and board member at CIS-NYC.

  • Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

    CIS-NYC is a sponsored ministry of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Institute of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an international missionary congregation of women religious present on six continents and in sixteen countries of the world.

  • Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Guadalupe Province

    CIS-NYC is part of the Guadalupe Province of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Guadalupe Province encompasses ministries in Australia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the United States.

  • Cabrini Mission Foundation

    Established in 1998, Cabrini Mission Foundation exists to respond to society’s needs by supporting programs of healing, teaching, and caring sponsored by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (MSC), the international religious order founded by St. Frances Xavier Cabrini in 1880. The Cabrini Mission Foundation is one of CIS-NYC’s generous donors.
