Matthew 25:35 – “I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you welcomed me.”
At CIS-NYC, our hearts are with the people of Paris and all people who are harmed by terrorism. We recognize that refugees from Syria are fleeing from the same violence that visited Paris last week. We strongly urge all governmental officials to continue accepting these refugees who are simply seeking safety. Welcoming refugees is a responsibility for all Catholics.
